What Causes Voice Hoarseness, Cough And Nasal Congestion?
Like two weeks ago I got sick. I lost my voice and was sneezy and coughy. So I started feeling better but like two days ago I got a runny nose at times, and a stuffy nose other times. My snot is green and today my ear hurts almost like it got popped. What do I have?
Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of voice hoarseness, cough and nasal congestion which are pointing towards upper respiratory tract infection and due to laryngitis which leads to inflammation of vocal cards.
Need not to worry. I would suggest you to go gargles and drink one spoon of honey mix with glass of lukewarm water. You should consult ENT specialist for proper examination. Doctor may order test like throat swab test and blood test to confirm the diagnosis and rule out causes. You should go for get laryngoscopy as well. Doctor may prescribe anti bacterial amoxicillin along with decongestants. You should take steam inhalation along with vaporizers. Avoid hot, sharp, spicy food.
