What Causes Voiding Dysfunction After A Prostate Surgery?
I have a family history of prostate and vericous vein problems. I had surgery to alleviate the prostate issue and two weeks later I wound up back in surgery for a blood clot in the prostate area. Just got the catheter out on Thursday still when I urinate I do not totally empty my bladder which is what was happening before the surgery’s . I have a follow up visit with my Urologist next week and not sure what I should be asking to get all the answers I need as I said my bladder is not completely emptying yet now. I am currently taking finesteride and flomax till My appt

The prostate clot and the surgeries in the urethral area could have made you prone to the development of a stricture. That could be why you are having an increased post voidal urine volume.
You could ask your doctor to perform a micturating cysourethrography and more importantly analyse your post voidal residual volume of urine.
