Yesterday I had a colonoscopy and was told afterwards that I threw up my stomach contents while asleep . My throat was raw, my voice was extremely hoarse, and my oxygen levels were low. I was given a breathing treatment after being told that they needed to be sure I had not aspirated any of the contents and I was prescribed 500 mg of levofloxacin once a day for 5 days. I still have an extremely hoarse and a sore throat; I also have a persistent cough that loosens whatever fluid is in my lungs. How concerned should I be????
