Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Woke up throwing up for no reason or warning. Stomach not upset or hurting (do have ulsers). Felt weak all day. Stressed, in my left chest and shoulder with slight ache. Breathing affected but only slightly. Slight headache. Also, highly prone to unwarranted panic attacks, or I would already be at the hospital. Thoughts?
By your history and description, possibility of severe gastritis related vomiting is more likely. Stress, anxiety, panic disorder cause hypersecretion of acid in stomach. You already have ulcers in stomach so this can cause vomiting.
So better to consult psychiatrist for control of stress, anxiety and panic disorder. Take Pantoprazole (antacid) and Domperidone (anti-emetic) twice daily on empty stomach. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Kaushal Bhavsar,
