What Causes Vomiting Along With Abdominal Pain And Discomfort?
I have been experiencing abdominal pain and discomfort over the past two weeks. Whenever I eat, my stomach tightens up into a hard ball. Additionally, I feel very full and nauseous. I have a lot of gas. I continue have regular bowel movements; however, on two different days, I have vomited. I am afraid of eating.
Read your clinical history. Your abdominal pain and discomfort can be due to various reasons. First of all, you should focus on your diet.
Take a lot of fruits and vegetables and plenty of water, al least 2-3 liters of water per day. Avoid taking spicy or oily food and excess of tea and coffee. Avoid smoking. Make sure that there is a gap of 1-2 hours between you eating and sleeping. Find some time to walk and exercise.
Do not take the stress. Do not stop eating. Take lot of fluids and take a bland diet - small frequent meals.
If still, it does not help then you need to go for some investigations like complete blood count, liver function tests, sugar levels and helicobacter pylori ( bacteria in the stomach ).
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Milinda Gupta
