What Causes Vomiting And Blood In Urine While Having Pneumonia?

Hi my brother just called me his wife was admitted to the hospital in New York, she had pneumonia 2 weeks ago and she was fine till she started vomiting and urinating blood. Is this connected to he recent bout with pneumonia? She is also hypertensive & diabetic Thank you, Maryanne

No.. There is no relation of pneumonia and urination of blood until and unless the chest infection was due to tuberculosis which is also affecting the urinary system....
It is possible that she might be suffering from kidney or ureteric stines or a urinary tract infection speacially because she is a diabetic..
