General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It looks she has got acute gastroenteritis. This is mostly causes by virus, and would settle in few days. For the time being she should take more and more fluids to avoid dehydration.

ORS sachets are best for rehydration. If she feels exhausted, or dizziness, or don't settle in five days, or there is frank blood in stool, then she should be taken to doctor as she may need drips for rehydration.

This would hopefully settle in up to 5 days.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
