What Causes Vomiting And Diarrhea After Taking DayQuil And Mucinex DM?

Hello I have a cold and yesterday took 3 rounds of DayQuil, then took nyquil, mucinex DM, and drank mirlax all around the same time. I woke up at 3am with throwing up and dierheaa, this only lasted 30min-hour and then was gone. I don t think it s the stomach bug because of only having it for 30 min and not having dierheaa or throwing up almost 24 hours after. I take mirlax often so I m assuming that s not it. What could have made me get sick?

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Certainly it's not any infection but GI disturbance is caused by overdose of one of these drugs.

Dayquil and nyquil may cause GI disturbances but very rarely. The possibility is more with Miralax and Mucinex DM. Just relax and please avoid having these drugs too often. If you experience any dehydration and severe fatigue, you can have oral rehydration solution (ORS) and have more liquid diet.

Diarrhoea if recurrs, tab loperamide is recommended.
