What Causes Vomiting And Discomfort After Eating?

During eating usually at the beginning of the meal. I get the feeling that the food is not entering my stomach. It seems to get stuck. Causes discomfort and then it forces me to vomit. I do so once or twice. Expelling what I had eaten so far. I experience what seems to be a thick saliva. After I am done I feel normal and am able to finish my meal with no further problems.
