What Causes Vomiting And Dizziness Post Treatment For Fever?

Hi doctor, Last 4 days I am suffering from Fever and i have taken the treatment for fever, Now the problem is last 2 days i am unable to wake up from bed because of head spinning and feel vomiting. Yesterday 2 times i have taken vomiting. Please advice. Claustin

You have not mentioned about the treatment of fever you had taken. Some antipyretic and antibiotics used commonly in fever have vomiting as its side effect. In that case stopping of that drug and shifting to another one is necessary if the symptoms persist for long lime and gradually increasing.
Again its not clear about the cause of your fever and pattern of it. Viral fever itself a cause of weakness and nasea which subsides by time after getting cure from infection. You may take tab domeperidone 10mg orally when nauseating and take plenty ORS after vomiting. Rest and healthy diet riched in fluids help to getting cured quickly.
Fever with headache may occur due to several causes. Some diagnosis may need blood tests. If your symptoms are not getting cured by the current treatment you are following you may have to visit a doctor.
