What Causes Vomiting And Headaches After Eating Blueberries?
I ate frozen blueberries which was out from the freezer for several days and in my refrigerator sitting. . I ate it with oatmeal. I threw up twice and had headache. I called my doctor and he said don't eat any food just drink gingerale and chicken broth.
Your symptoms may be in keeping with gastroenteritis which is infection/inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract likely due to the foods consumed.
Holding off solid food will give your stomach and intestines time to heal. Dry, bland foods should be re introduced after a 6 hour period with no symptoms.
The use of fluids would prevent dehydration from the fluid loss from vomiting. Probiotics may also help with speeding up the healing process.
There are medications that you can use to help decrease nausea and vomiting eg dramamine, peptobismol
I hope this helps
