General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello there I have read through your question and understand your concern. Heavy menstrual bleeding along with nausea is not normal and has to be investigated. It can be the sign of uterine fibroid or endometriosis and need immediate attention. I would advise you to not delay her seeking medical care as it may lead to serious complications. She has to be assessed by a gynaecologist who may also advise a ultrasound for diagnosis. She may require blood or fluid transfusion depending upon the amount of blood she has lost. Further line of treatment will depend on her diagnosis and may also include hysterectomy. I hope that answers your question. If you have any further questions please feel free to write. Thank you for choosing healthcare magic.
