General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It could be reflux. This tends to occur in the evenings or early mornings. It can be associated with vomiting.

Reflux can occur at any age and is common in young children as well.

In babies this can be related to (1)the amounts of food used (if they use too much for their small stomachs)
(2)the types of food- you may want to consider a food diary to see if it is related to particular foods

Reflux medication can be used to help treat reflux in babies, if this is needed.

You should consider taking him to his doctor for assessment.

I hope this helps
