What Causes Vomiting And Lack Of Appetite In Child?
what can be wrong with my child he has a high white count and keeps vomiting. he has been checked for Lyme disease and they say it was neg. he has not eaten and is dehydrated . the hospital keeps sending him home with no answer now I will be taking him to a different hospital . he is still vomiting and not eating. he drake apple juice and vomited . had a freezer pop and vomited it also. he is not getting better. he does not have a temp. he feels cool
He should be immediately monitored for her vitals signs like pulse, blood pressure etc.
You can give your child plenty of water with lemon juice (added salt),coconut water or WHO oral rehydration solution.
The important thing is to combat vomiting and for which she would require antiemetic drugs (injectables or oral) with antibiotics (norfloxacin with antiprotozoals like ornidazole preferred) with other water and electrolyte fluids.
So,it would be advisable that if you take her to doctor for all routine blood investigation and proper treatment.
Home treatment might also help but he actually requires complete course of treatment as I explained.
Thanks and Regards,
