What Causes Vomiting And Nausea After Taking Duphaston?
Hi,
My wife is 7 week pregnant now(first pregnancy) , last week doctor prescribed duphaston 10mg twice a day because she had spotting and mild abdominal pain for two days . After taking the tablet she has severe vomiting and nausea. Do we need to continue this tablet or what? Please advice. thank you!

Hi I think she can take duphaston without any worry. It is a progesterone which supports implantation and prevents miscarriages. Vomiting can be due to pregnancy itself. She can take some antiemetic on advise of the doctor. Hope it helps.
