What Causes Vomiting, Dizziness And Headaches?

hello, I was vomiting a lot on Sunday after a lot of visits with family and friends and I was vomiting from 3 p.m. to about midnight straight and I couldn t stop. it was mucusy and not filled with a lot of substances and I was dizzy had a headache, chills, etc. now my body feels terrible but i was able to go to work. it s in a lot of pain and my biggest worry is that my chest hurts my abdomen hurts my back hurts my neck hurts but the worst is it hurts when I breathe. is that normal?

Hello,

According to your description, it seems you have food poisoning most probably. Dizziness and headache are due to dehydration caused by vomiting.

Drink Oral rehydration solution (ORS - WHO approved) prepared by dissolving ORS powder in 1 liter of drinking water. Tablet Domperidone drug 12 hourly and take light diet for 1 to 2 days.

Do routine blood tests. If leukocyte counting are higher start Ofloxacin tablets 12 hourly for 5 days. You have to consult physician to get the medication prescribed.
