What Causes Vomiting Every Time After Eating?

Hi, I have been coughing for the past week now. It is not going away. It only goes away for an hour or two during the day and night. I constantly cough during the night, and it wakes me up during the night sometimes. I have been taking cough syrup, but am still coughing... My second question is that whenever I eat something I go to the bathroom and throw up. I have noticed that it has gotten worse when I eat bananas.

Hi,

I cannot say in your particular case, but generally, throwing up a lot triggers coughing in a variety of ways: food often goes down the wrong way. secretions are triggered everywhere, it strains the respiratory muscles and the throat, it triggers cough reflexes. Many disorders can cause vomiting after eating. Any blockage in the throat or stomach, reflux, hiatal hernia, medications, psychological issues, and many others.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
