What Causes Vomiting, Fever And Soles Of The Feet To Turn Yellow?
Hi my 5 year old daughter has been vomiting since yesterday morning (8 times total). She has also had a high fever (104.7F), again beginning yesterday. She had some diarrhea yesterday. No cough or nasal congestion. No abdominal pain, not tender to touch. I noticed now her soles of her feet are yellow. Is this concerning? What often causes this?
Based on your description it is necessary to rule out hepatitis.
Kindly get her blood and urine tested for liver function tests.
Consult a pediatrician with the report for clinical evaluation and appropriate management.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S, General & Family Physician
