What Causes Vomiting Followed By A Blister On The Upper Lip?
On Wed. I threw up once. I have been nauseous since then but haven t thrown up anymore since then, but today is Friday and I woke up with a blister on the top right side of my lip. I get cold sores which is what I thought it was at first but it looks nothing like a cold sore. It looks just like a blister. I m worried? What is it,?
If it is a solitary ulcer then it is not probably due to cold sores but can be an ulcer secondary to bacterial or staphylococcus infection and if it is above the upper lip then it can be due to hair follicle infection.. Do not worry clean the blister with antiseptic solution and then apply antiseptic ointment like Neosporin or Soframcyin over it.. In case if it does not get better then you can consult a Physician and get evaluated. If it is a bacterial infection then oral antibiotic can be advised..
Hope this helps..
Regards.
