Hello,

I can understand your concern. However, it would have been easier to advise if you had mentioned what antibiotics she was prescribed and for what disease. Sometimes, knowing the name of the medicine helps to advise regarding the side effects it may have.

She has taken medicines for 10 days and she has started vomiting after a few days of stopping it, which makes medicines little less of the culprit for the vomiting episodes.

Too much vomiting can be more commonly due to heartburn or stomach infection. However, no fever and no pain can rule out infection in most cases. There are many other reasons for vomiting which are difficult to diagnose without proper history of the patient and physical examination.

A very crucial problem with vomiting is dehydration and metabolic disturbances. It happens by losing too much water and minerals from body that can affect your daughter in serious way. So keep giving her water and WHO-ORS to maintain electrolyte balance in the body while you consult a physician for physical examination and proper diagnosis.

I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthCareMagic to help you. I hope your daughter feels better soon.

Best Regards,
Dr. Viraj Shah
