General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It looks like he is having some kind of food allergy and acid reflux that triggers vomiting with coughing. He is not having adequate sleep either. He is suggested to avoid oily spicy food, take small amount of food multiple times a day. He can take some digestives (syrup Aristozyme). Avoid taking animal protein for the time being.

Liver dysfunction sometimes presents with such symptoms. He can take some liver tonic & boiled food for a couple of days. Let him relax and rest. You can get him liver function tests done to stay on the safer side.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
