What Causes Vomiting In An Infant After Consuming Lactogen?
Hello, my baby is 2.5 months old, I tried giving her lactogen 1, once I gave her 120ml and she threw up the entire feed after 2 hours including bile. On the second occasion I gave her only 30ml and she was very uncomfortable, trying to vomit and threw up a little bit. When she was born she was given nan and later at the hospital they switched her to similac advance 1. Is it that lactogen 1 is not suiting her. Are the composition of lactogen 1 & Similac Advance same.
when you are feeding babies always be relaxed start slow feeding upright position head up feed a little less than recommended feel happy and satisfied with what you gave do not be over enthusiastic to feed more their sphincters in food pipes are delicate so do not over feed if you do, you mess with them then throw ups will be your choice
when introducing new foods go little by little with careful observation like you do in lab experiments. all formulas are good some suit some do not so you be the good judge of the results you observe.
hope this helps. good luck
