What Causes Vomiting In An Infant?

My daughter is 4 and half months old and woke up this morn spitting up white which would be her milk from her bottle she had last night. But now she is still throwing up every few minutes and it is mucusy bile kind of yellowy green. Not a lot each time a small amount each time which she struggles to get up.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms seem to be related to a viral infection.

Some advice that I can give to you is:
-Give your baby small amounts of oral electrolyte solution.
-Gradually start to offer your child regular foods after 6 hours with no vomiting.
-Give probiotic supplements.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
