What Causes Vomiting, Stomach Pain And Dizziness After Taking Morphine Sulfate?

I took a pill of morphine sulfate last night and have been vomiting, stomach pain, dizziness and can barely walk and stay awake. I have Muscular Dystrophy and am very afraid of what is happening to me. I also can t stop shaking. What should I do is there anything to stop these side effects? I haven t taken a pill since 11:30 last night

Hello,

You will need to drink plenty of fluids to substitute the loss, frequent small amounts so you can better tolerate it. Using oral rehydration solutions is advisable as this will substitute both water and electrolyte losses.
On the other hand the medications for nausea and vomiting are not over the counter so you might need to have a doctor's prescription of metocholorpramide 10 mg, 3 times a day to help with this.
