What Causes Vomiting Up Of Blood And Excessive Weight Loss?
My brother was vomiting black blood - finally went to dr. has blockage, did CAT Scan, but not sure what is going on yet. He s lost about 20 lbs in the last month. he is about 73. they couldn t get up his rectum, had to go through his nose to release the blockage? removed 2200 cc s (not sure liquid or solid). I m thinking colon cancer or a tear in the colon or stomach?

Obviously there is bleeding somewhere. With an obstruction, cancer in the gastrointestinal tract seems likely, but sometimes it can just be scarring. Certainly the biopsy they would have done will tell what is going on in about a week.
