What Causes Vomiting Up Of Blood In A Person With COPD?
Hello. My husband has COPD he is 64yrs old and has recently been hospitalized because he was coughing up blood. They did a test by inserting a camera into his lungs and told him he had phemonia. He has been home about a week and a half and he s coughing up blood again. where is it coming from?

Coughing out blood in patient of COPD needs to be further investigated. I suggest you to get a CT scan of chest to look for any abnormality. Pneumonia is unlikely to cause coughing out of blood.
