What Causes Vomiting Up Of Brown Stuff Along With Black Coloured Stools?

my husband is paralyzed on one side he has been throwing up a dark brownish red I mean a lot he is not eating much at all he Is not dehydrated his urine is not real dark he has been bed ridden for 8 years stroke an brain injury he is 53 years old an his stool is black liquid what would you suggest he is taking phenagrin not working in lot of pain killing me

Hi,

thank you for providing a brief history of your husband. To be straight here its advised to get checked by a physician once. Getting black stools or dark urine may be some sort of infection or other way. If he is bed ridden chances for infection may be common at times. Getting checked by a physician is never a worry because specialist help always gives a close understanding of what actually is happening. Medication if needed may be modified or any special blood sample test may be done to rule out the provisional causes and help get closer to the diagnosis.
