Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been experiencing symptoms for pregnancy but I m not pregnant. I have taken three tests and all are negative. This past week I have been alright up into these past two days. I threw up white earlier and a bit of the bagel I ate. What do this mean?
I can understand your concern. There are diseases that can cause upset stomach and vomiting that may seem like pregnancy like symptoms but are in fact symptoms of food poisoning and stomach infection due to that.
I would advise you to start Norfloxacin 400 mg (Norflox) twice a day for five days. An analgesic and antacid can be accompanied with that. Stay light on diet and take rest.
The symptoms should resolve by the end of the antibiotic course. If it does not, then a physical examination by the physician and other investigations are advised.
I hope this answer helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Let me know if you have follow up questions.
Best, Dr. Viraj Shah
