What Causes Vomiting, Upper Abdominal Pain And Fever?

I have been dealing with spasmodic vomiting, fever, nausea and upper abdominal pain for over a month now. It has gotten worse and the vomiting is increasing, but it is minimal vomiting, doesn t empty my stomach, just vomit about 10 to 12 ounces of mostly fluid, then a few hours later the same. I am constantly thirsty, so I drink more fluids even though I know I am going to lose it soon.

If you are facing all these complaints since 1 month,first thing I would like to ask you is have you visited any physician and undergone any blood tests?Well,the clinical scenario you mentioned can be because of viral hepatitis,typhoid that needs to be diagnosed through clinical examination,blood tests and USG abdo for gallbladder disease or appendicitis.Stool tests can be done to rule out intestinal parasites.
Is there any complaint of diarrhoea,weight loss,decreased appetite,headache with neck stiffness?These symptoms may point to some other pathologies.
As per your history,you have got all complaints since 1 month,so taking just symptomatic like paracetamol or anti emetics won't help.The basic cause needs to be found out,so visit your physician as soon as possible.You may be given with an antibiotic course if needed.
