What Causes Vomiting While Suffering From Cold?

My son has had cold symptoms for 7days now which I is normal but in between those days he would throw up out of no where. At first I thought it was from flem in his throat but its different than that. Yesterday he threw up again . no flem . I m just worried cause something seems to be wrong. If he throws up today he is going to the er, please let me know what you think.

Hi,

This can be due to cold which is a case of viral infection. The typical signs of this infection also includes:

Gastrointestinal upsets like vomiting, nausea, diarrhea. This can also be due to effects of drugs which he may be taking. There is no need to worry. As soon he recovers it will stop.

You can give him tablet of Metachloropromide or tablet Domeperidone. However it would be better if you can show him to physician to proper examination and accordingly he will be treated.
