What Causes Vomiting,vertigo And Tinnitus?

Currently I am not eating too well as I feel hungry but the thought of food makes me feel sick. But I have eaten more today, I feel like I need to poo but have trouble going, I feel constantly sick and keep, how I can say, burping but it taste/smells disgusting and makes me feel even more sick! This is my third day of illness and the first day I threw up, the second I had such a bad episode, I was so weak, had no coordination, my head was spinning, my vision was blurred and my ears were ringing. On monday I was prescribed with anti-sickness tablets. I don t suppose you could help me detect what s really going on? I generally feel very unwell, I have a feeling I have a virus affecting my digestive system hence my abnormal lack of ability to stomach food. Thank you. Ashleigh

Hello,

Your symptoms are very consistent with the gastritis. The constipation, dizziness, weakness and intolerance to food along with nausea and vomiting all points towards gastritis (gastric irritation due to swelling or ulcer). Please start the following treatment with the over the counter drugs and see if things improve over few days. It take couple of days before the whole treatment plays its magic.
- Tab Nexium
- Ispagola Husk (It is a fiber), you can also use Benefiber instead
-Avoid spicy, oily or processed food
- Increase Salads fruits and vegetables in your diet
- Eat yogurt in small quantities that will help sooth your stomach

If symptoms persist, one week after the treatment then you may have to visit your local physician to investigate for H pylori which cause stomach swelling and need antibiotics for it. Otherwise the above explained treatment should be good to make things easy for you.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
