What Causes Warm Sensation In The Lower Leg While Suffering From High BP?
I am 82 years old senior w/type 2 diabetic, high blood pressure patient, heart implant, somewhat active playing golf occasionally and treadmill for 40 minutes a day during the week. Just started experiencing warm sensation in lower left leg. I have Aetna insurance; should you not accept this, I can check with my primary doctor in the am.
For a geriatric patient, you are somewhat amazing on living with diabetes type 2 with hypertension and even heart implant can still do the activity.
However the warm sensation in lower left leg might be an indication to varicoses or even peripheral artery disease if it has a sharp pain now and then. Its better to have it check it up with the primary doctor as you have blood pressure with diabetic which is the main factor for PAD diseases.
Having Arm brachial index examination is the safest and fastest for screening PAD. However doppler USG and some other test can be followed.
Thank you.
