What Causes Warm Sensation In The Vagina After Stopping Ciprofloxacin?
Hi I am 21 years old, currently diagnosed with SLE , hypothyroidism and and undergoing tests for a failing liver ( results have not returned to see what is going on) I have just come off of ciprofloxacin to clear up an infection that I had yesterday. I was on the drug for 10 days. Today I have been experiencing a warm sensation within my vaginal area and I almost feel as if I have just peed myself. I think I should also mention on Thursday I got a CT scan, where my IV wasnt inserted properly resulting in me having the dye ( I m not sure of the name) spilling into the tissues around the IV resulting in a swollen arm. I m not sure if this is what s causing this sensation or if it could be something else. Please help!
It is due to minor hormonal changes. Nothing much to worry and it will settle by itself. As of now, you can apply estrogen creams for symptomatic relief.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
