Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I had a wart frozen on my pinky a week ago. Since then it has developed a blister about the size of a pea that sticks out very far on my pinky. 2 days ago the blister transformed into a blood blister and the pressure keeps increasing to the point that it hurts to do anything with my pinky at all and the slightest touch is excruciating. I had a wart frozen on my thumb the same day and that wart developed a small blister that has gradually gotten smaller and is an orange color and is pain free for the most part. Is there something I can do for the wart on my pinky?
Hello and welcome to HCM, It is unusual for a wart to turn into a blood filled vesicle after being frozen. Probably the lesion is not a wart. A vesicle becomes blood filled after trauma or injury. The vesicle associated with pain is also not a feature of wart. It would be more informative if you could post a picture of the blood filled vesicle. A clinical assessment and relevant investigations like biopsy may be required to diagnose the condition and thus plan treatment. I suggest you to consult your dermatologist for clinical assessment and management.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
