What Causes Warts On The Bottom Of The Foot?

I have warts on the bottom of 1 foot. My derm. dr. has several things most commonly liquid nitrogen to freeze the areas. Because this is being VERY stubborn she is recommending Tagament. Unsure why it works but she says it does in some cases. I already take medication for acid reflux so I m concerned about that. Have you ever heard of Tagament used in this manner? What are the side effects? Thank you!

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Warts caused by a kind of viral infection called papilloma virus.
Once the diagnosis is confirmed, you can opt for either cauterisation or cryosurgery as it has got less chance for recurrence.
Wishing all the best.
thanks
