What Causes Water Retention And Swelling In The Legs?
I am a 47 year old female. I just had some blood work done during a health fair, and I have high cholesterol and high LDL, as well as low white blood cell count. I am also experiencing significant swelling/water retention in my feet and legs. What might this mean?

1. Renal failure
2. Cardiac failure
3. Liver failure
4. Hypothyroidism
5. Anemia
6. Hypoproteinemia
7. Hypothyroidism and others.
Until the examination is done it is difficult to say what it is.
Please consult your physician he will do cardiac, renal, and liver examination and treat you accordingly.
