Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been taking tagrisso for about 8 months. I recently had cataract surgery and am having some side effects, specifically watering of the eyes. The optomologist told me that it would disappear before now. Is this watering possibly related to tagrisso?
In the first week of cataract surgery you may experience watering of the eyes, irritation, redness & specks, etc. Avoid touching or scratching the eyes.
Since you have been taking Tagrisso for quite some time you may experience adverse reactions like Keratitis, Cardiomyopathy or lung pathology. Inform your treating doctor, about the watering of your eyes as complication of Keratitis may lead to blindness. Take an appointment from your treating doctor & get physically examined, get a follow -up treatment done.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
