What Causes Watery Eyes And Redness In Cheeks Of An Infant?
A baby 7 months old with watery eyes and red cheeks but no fever or other symptoms.. Ate Gerber pears (with citric acid) the past two days for the first time. He has successful eaten squash, sweet potatoes, green beans, avocado from Gerber with no reactions. He had cold symptoms about 7 days ago and did run fever for one day with congestion and nasal drip but this lasted only a day. The Mom was sick with either cold or allergies, the baby had his one day of illness and then the father became ill. Mom and Dad did not run fever. The only guess by me is food allergy or slapped cheek virus. YYYY@YYYY

It looks like baby has got good allergy. Avoid pears( with citric acid) from any food brand name. Second option is baby got flu and virus infection. It should go away at its own, but if it stays after 5days too, conault paediatrician for consultation after examination.
