What Causes Watery Eyes And Sneezing After Having Amoxicillin?

Hi. My 13 yr old daughter started taking amoxicillin 4 days ago for a recurring sinus issue (stuffy nose, second multi day fever in two week, thick drainage and red irritated eyes). On day 3 (yesterday) she started sneezing like crazy with puffy burning and watery eyes and woke the next morning with a 101 fever. Could this be an allergic reaction to the medication? Her father and I are both allergic to penicillin. Should we discontinue use?
