Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi: I have had diarrhea for 3 days now. I tried a anti diarrhea pill but it keeps coming back. It was a full blown session and then it looked like a greenesh brown liquid. I had a salad and of course it was leafy. When I don t eat anything it is just a very soft stringy stool. What can I do to help stop this could it be some type of flu? I don t have a fever or headache.
Take lots of fluids! ORS solution according to quantity of diarrhea must be maintained! Check for fever and take consultation! Take tab Sporolac for a few days. If it is not going away then a stool examination is to be done for proper diagnosis and treatment. Listen to good music and do breathing exercises and meditation, it will keep a healthy mind.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Sunny Madar, General & Family Physician
