What Causes Weakness And Pain In Legs, Hands And Wrist Post Miscarriage?

I am a 29 year old female. I suffered a miscarriage recently and my blood levels are normal now. For the last 1-2 weeks I have weakness and pain in my legs and hands, more in right hand/leg than left.it feels like a muscle pull and I have no swelling. I find it hard to drive (pressing down on accelerator is especially hard). My wrist and fore arm hurts too.

Hi,

You should get baseline work up with blood counts for hemoglobin to rule out any blood loss. Also autoimmune work up may be needed with rheumatoid factor and ANA. Rheumatologist review may be needed if symptoms persist.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
