What Causes Weakness In Left Arm When Anxiety Levels Rise?

Hello , my left arm gets weak and feels like the nerves are playing up when ever I smoke, iv had blood test and my heart has been checked, doctors have ruled out a hearth attack and a stroke but haven t been able to tell me exactly why this is happening, iv totally quit smoking now because it s to scary but my arm still gets very weak especially when my anxiety levels raise, can you help me to understand this?

Hi.
I can understand your concern. Medicine often does not provide all the answers in a truly scientific manner. However the fact your doctors have done investigations to exclude heart attack and stroke is reassuring. Also you say you have had full blood tests which have not, presumably, indicated any serious cause. You may already have had a head scan as part of the diagnostic work up but if not, this may be a good idea.
