What Causes Weakness In Leg And Knee Pain In Children?

My son is 6 years old and I just saw and felt vein on his leg, also he couldn t feel asleep because he s complaining that he s knees are eking him, and his legs are week. I use to had ekki legs when I was younger, my mum said that am growing, is this true

Hi,

If you are living in area where sun cannot reach or you have very less exposure of sun. Then it is may due calcium and vitamin D deficiency, which is quite common in young children. You can add some milk and eggs in his diet. Further increase his sun exposure. Also, you can do Serum calcium and serum Vitamin D level from laboratory. After which we can add medication.
