What Causes Weakness In My Lower Limbs Post Angioplasty?

I had angioplasty and 3 stents two months ago. After the procedure I was feeling fine and shortness of breath has disappeared. BUT I feel alarming weakness in my lower limbs now and cannot even stand let alone walk for more than a couple of minutes. What could be the cause?

Hi,
I read your query and understand your concern
Unfortunately there difficult to find a correlation between the procedure you have passed and legs weakness
If you are diabetic or have history of alcohol abuse probably you are suffering from polyneuropathy which isn't related with heart
You can schedule a neurologic examination or even better an ENG (electronervography) which will determinate the cause of your leg weakness
Hope I have been of help
Don't hesitate to contact me for further questions
Stay healthy
Best regards
