What Causes Weakness In The Hand After An Electric Shock?
As I plugged in my dryer (220 volts), 2 fingers touched the metal plug and I received an electric shock. My fingers, hand, and arm to elbow were immediately weak, tight and shaking but I was able to move away quickly. This was yesterday. The shaking stopped but my hand and arm feels like it is responding very slow, tight, and very strange. I have no visible burns. What happens to the nerves and muscles with a shock below the let-go threshold ?

What Causes Weakness In The Hand After An Electric Shock?
Hi, There is usually transient nerve injury because of electric shock, the problem of control occurs because of the same reason. It may take some days to get you in normal condition maximum up to one and half month. You can take multivitamins, vitamin B12 is highly effective to decrease the recovery time in case of transient nerve injuries. You don t need to worry as it is a self healing condition and takes a little time. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
