What Causes Weakness In The Legs Along With Profuse Sweating?

Hi im a 30 year old male with a history of alchol and drug abuse. No i.v. use. No diseases...non diabetic. Currently on 80mg methadone daily. Ever since i was about say 10 years old Id have this occur where my legs get really weak with profuse sweating. Once id sit down and eat a snack id feel better. I accepted for all these years that maybe im hypoglycemic. But i fpund out that is very rare if you are non diabetic which i did have tests done for. Lately it has become a daily routine having this occur but at no specific times either. It used to happen maybe at the most twice a week. Currently waiting to see a doctor but I know its gunna take some time to figure out because all docs in the past sorta just shrug it off and tell me im a healthy young man. Also lately its become so bad where a frw times ive almost passed out. Also i have high blood pressure....but not all the time either. Thanks in advance

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As per my clinical experience, the issue sounds to be associated with possible lesion of para sympathetic pathway involving various relay stations of the limbs as well as sweating centres. I recommend a detailed neurologic evaluation with an expert.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
