What Causes Weakness In The Legs While On Velcade Injection?

I can t afford any money. Husband (80) taking Velcade injections 1per week/2 weeks. One week off.and then back to 1 per week for 2 weeks. We ve tried a more intense regime with bad results. Now my husband is weak in the legs and has fallen 3 times in 8 days. Using a walker . Is the Velcade doing this or is it his Multiple Myeloma? Protein shake once a day. and normal eating. Nothing much. weight 163. Not on Revlimid yet.

it causes cell degradation and decrease cell regeneration, causes reduction in immunity level of body.. which all leads to general body weakness as long as the treatment is going on.. u need to wait and take care of patient as cell regeneration will balance the normal level after a while..
