What Causes Weakness In The Legs While Suffering From Body Ache And High Fever?
I have been ill with the flu for four days. Severe body ache, head ache and high fever. Fluids, rest and ibuprofen keep my fever down to 100.5. Seemed to have broken only to return 12 hours later. Very weak in legs and significant spine stiffness/pain (thought meningitis since i have had two bouts of viral but I had not other symptoms.) My question. Is this the usual course or within the normal parameters of current flu virus?

It is all because of fever you had dehydration and loss of salts you feel like that. You need an antibiotic coverage for few days to clear infection. Take plenty of liquids, soup, light meals in the diet. You will return to normal in one week so nothing to worry.
