I wish someone could help me. My obgyn and dietician don t know what is causing my symptoms of weakness/ numbness and dizzyness (like having a buzz after drinking some alcohol) everytime I eat. I am in my 8 month of pregnancy but have been dealing with symptoms for about 6 weeks. I don t have gestational diabetes but do have a glucose monitor to be sure because I failed my first hour of the 3 hour glucose test. I went all the way up to 219 in my first hour. It doesn t matter what I eat, it happens no matter what. It s much worse when I do have a high carb meal but even during the 99% of the time that I follow the dieticians plan and my glucose level shows low, I still feel the symptoms. I have tested to see if gluten was the problem and that s not it either. Any thoughts on this would be great. By the way, I am a normal healthy weight and take no prescription drugs either.
