What Causes Weakness While Suffering From Atrial Fibrillation?

my 78 year old father had a bad case of Lyme and Anaplasmosis in May, 2016. Since that hospitalization he s been diagnosed with A-Fib. He checks his temp, blood sugar, pulse, weight, BP, pulse/ox daily. Today he s feeling weak, his temp is in the mid 90 s, blood sugar is elevated and pulse/ox is a bit low. I should point out, we live in Massachusetts where it s been raining heavily today and for the next couple of days. on days like this he usually feels achy and overall, down.

YES atrial fibrilation can cause weakness because the blood flow the heart is disrupted and the brain and the rest of the body does not
get enough oxygen and glucose.
Sometimes the blood pressure becomes low ( bradycardia . arrthymias. and hypotention)
Investigation
medical exam to acertain the fibrilation
1. Chest X Ray
2. ECG. check for arrthymias
3. Lipid profile
Treatment
Depends on the out come.
consult cardiologist.
